Internet Advertising Account Executive
Description
Ferocious Media seeks experienced media professionals that are self-motivated and results oriented for our Fairfield County and Westchester County territories. The Internet Advertising Account Executive is responsible for developing new business in and around a specific geography within a designated county. Clients include small to medium sized businesses. The right candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have abundant client and agency contacts, and understand digital advertising tools and workflows.
Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Originate, manage and scale a sales pipeline
- Cultivate and pitch prospects, draft proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contracting, review, and signature process for insertion orders
- Determine customer needs and marketing challenges for clients and work with the Digital Media Manager to design programs to address those needs
- Develop and maintain a prospecting and targeting system
- Be familiar with emerging digital advertising trends
Requirements:
- Digital sales experience in SEM, display, social and mobile strategies
- Track record of consultative and idea-based sales experience
- History of gaining access to high-level decision makers who control advertising budgets
- Proven success in initiating and maintaining relationships with local advertisers
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of exceeding goals in a high-growth culture
- Advanced project management skills, including handling multiple opportunities simultaneously, setting and meeting goals and efficient time management
- Entrepreneurial nature, flexible and relentless work ethic
- Knowledge of the digital landscape (SEM, SEO, Display, Social Media and Web Analytics) a plus
- Familiarity with Fairfield or Westchester County local businesses
- Strong computer skills
Designated territory will be a specific geography within Fairfield or Westchester County.
